Please contact our office at (806) 335-1421, if you have questions or concerns with this forecast. .DISCUSSION...As of early this morning light showers are present in the northwestern Panhandles that has seen cloud cover extent across the Panhandles. While these showers are not expected to reach the spot area, they could diminish the expected activity expected to move in with expected cold front later today. Still most guidance is expecting isolated to scatter thunderstorms develop ahead of this front around 3 to 6 PM today. Primary concerns continue to be on the potential for heavy rainfall, but ingredients are in place that we can`t fully rule out thunderstorms becoming strong to severe with the capability to produce hail and damaging winds. Otherwise focus will be on the arrival of the cold front that will see winds shift from westerly/southwesterly to a more northerly direction by sunset. .REST OF TODAY...
