.DISCUSSION...As of early this morning light showers are present
in the northwestern Panhandles that has seen cloud cover extent
across the Panhandles. While these showers are not expected to
reach the spot area, they could diminish the expected activity
expected to move in with expected cold front later today. Still
most guidance is expecting isolated to scatter thunderstorms
develop ahead of this front around 3 to 6 PM today. Primary
concerns continue to be on the potential for heavy rainfall, but
ingredients are in place that we can`t fully rule out
thunderstorms becoming strong to severe with the capability to
produce hail and damaging winds. Otherwise focus will be on the
arrival of the cold front that will see winds shift from
westerly/southwesterly to a more northerly direction by sunset.
