This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Texas and Oklahoma
Panhandles.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible across portions of
the western panhandles during the late afternoon and early evening
hours. These storms may produce locally heavy rainfall but should
otherwise remain below severe limits.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Heat will build across the region for much of the week, leading to
heat stress concerns each day. Heat indices nearing 105 degrees
will especially be the case on Tuesday and Wednesday and may
necessitate heat advisories during this time. Temperatures will
be near or exceed 100 degrees at Palo Duro Canyon for much of the
week and be near of exceed 105 degrees Tuesday and Wednesday.

Thunderstorms will be possible across portions of the area Tuesday
night through Saturday. Locally heavy rainfall will be the main
concern with any thunderstorm that does occur and the probability
for severe thunderstorms is low.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not anticipated at this time.
