...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN ARMSTRONG...
NORTHEASTERN RANDALL...SOUTHERN CARSON AND SOUTHEASTERN POTTER
COUNTIES THROUGH 745 PM CDT...

At 717 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6
miles northwest of Claude. This thunderstorm was nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Claude, Washburn, and Goodnight.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 82 and 111.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
