...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN RANDALL...SOUTHEASTERN
OLDHAM AND SOUTHERN POTTER COUNTIES THROUGH 1100 PM CDT...

At 1028 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 4
miles north of Bushland, or 13 miles west of Amarillo, moving east at
30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Amarillo, Wildorado, and Bushland.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
the Panhandle of Texas.
