...Rain Returns Late Tonight...
.DISCUSSION...
Rain returns late tonight/early Wednesday morning ahead of a cold
front that will drape down into the area Wednesday afternoon. Very
low chance for a thunderstorm but not likely. Drizzle and/or a lull
possible Wednesday night before another round of rain moves in
Thursday, esp toward M-55/M-72. Highest rainfall totals most likely
across central MI, as far north as M-72/M-55. Mixing heights should
be 1-2kft or less Wednesday and possibly into Thursday. Lake breezes
this afternoon; some land breezes possible tonight but winds should
turn more S/SW tonight and increase to 10-20mph sustained by morning
with gusts 15-25mph possible during the day. Cold high pressure
settles in this weekend with frost possible.
