.DISCUSSION... High pressure moves over northern Michigan on
Friday, leading to mainly sunny skies and temperatures in the 60s
across northern Michigan. Light northerly winds (sustained
5-10mph, some gusts up to 15mph) prevail, along with RHs holding
in the low 40s at the minimum. As such, fire danger likely remains
low, though some areas that may not have seen any or much rainfall
in the last couple weeks may still pose a fire growth risk.
Looking ahead into Labor Day weekend, the dry weather continues,
with temperatures gradually warming through the 70s and locally into
the 80s by Labor Day.
