.DISCUSSION...
Song remains largely the same to start the weekend...with patchy fog
early and otherwise clearing out through the morning. Guidance
currently points to drier conditions Saturday afternoon, esp from M-
32 down to M-55 or so...with RHs likely dropping below 35-40
percent, and would not be shocked to see RHs drop below 30 percent
in areas where E/NE downsloping is enhanced (Cadillac, Wellston,
etc). Prevailing light/variable to E/NE winds (5mph or less)
continue, with lake breezes to return again Saturday afternoon which
could keep RHs from dropping too aggressively for areas at the
immediate Lake Michigan coast. Mixing heights around 2-5kft, esp
away from the coasts. RHs could increase a tad going into
Sunday/Monday as a bit more moisture sneaks into the region, though
high pressure remains in control.
