...Increasing Fire Weather Concerns This Weekend...

.DISCUSSION... Drier and warmer weather set to carry through the
upcoming weekend. Highs generally in the 70s and even some 80s at
times anticipated, with a dry southeast to southerly flow
prevailing. Fire danger will certainly be non-zero in the coming
days, especially as we head into the upcoming weekend when the
greatest overlap of warmth and breezy conditions builds. With MinRHs
largely failing to get below 30, not anticipating Red Flag
conditions... but when all the above is combined with drying /
decaying vegetation, certainly some risk for fire growth. A bit
cooler weather set to return next week, but unfortunately current
trends do not support any widespread significant rains.
