...Increasing shower and thunderstorm chances...

.DISCUSSION...A cold front crosses northern Michigan today. Chances
for showers and thunderstorms will increase today, especially this
afternoon in north central and northeast lower Michigan. A few
strong storms are possible, producing locally gusty winds. After a
lull early tonight, shower and storm chances increase late tonight
and especially Wednesday. Strong to perhaps severe storms, and
heavy rainfall, will be possible Wednesday.

Breezy southwest winds will occur today, gusts up to 25 to 30 mph.
Lighter southeast winds are expected Wednesday.
