...Sharply Cooler and Breezy...

.DISCUSSION... A cold front will clear northern Michigan this
morning, opening the door for a much more seasonable airmass to
surge into the region. Gusty NW winds will be the name of the
game today, with sustained winds exceeding 10mph and occasional
gusts as high as 25 to 30mph this afternoon. Sharply drier air
will lead to RHs tumbling into the 30s across the board as well.
With recent rain, albeit light in a lot of areas, surface moisture
will be elevated. Nonetheless, areas that did not see
thunderstorms and heavier rain over the last 24 hours will be
susceptible to fire growth conditions to an extent... but will be
limited by the cooler temperatures. Even cooler temperatures are
expected Wednesday, with highs in the 50s along with less breezy
conditions.
