Fire Weather Planning Forecast for northern Lower Michigan
National Weather Service Gaylord MI
215 AM EDT Sun Aug 3 2025

...Rain-free weather set to continue for several more days...

.DISCUSSION... High pressure will only very slowly work across the
area, resulting in rain-free weather continuing through at least the
middle of the week. Temperatures will continue to warm, with highs
today likely nearing/topping 80 degrees...with readings both Monday
and Tuesday increasing at least a few degrees. Combination of these
warm temperatures and limited low level moisture will result in
afternoon relative humidity values dropping below 40 percent this
afternoon through Tuesday afternoon. Good news is winds continue to
look relative light, precluding any real significant fire weather
concerns despite this extended stretch of dry weather.
