High snowfall amounts and strong wind gusts will lead to significant drops in visibility, blowing and drifting snow, and dangerous holiday travel at times. A high impact lake effect snow event will continue across northwest lower and eastern upper Michigan Thanksgiving day through Friday. High snowfall amounts and strong wind gusts will lead to significant drops in visibility, blowing and drifting snow, and localized dangerous holiday travel.
