* WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations between 1 and 3 inches.
  Wind gusts as high as 30mph will lead to continued instances of
  blowing and drifting snow.

* WHERE...Montmorency County.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM EST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
  conditions will impact the Friday morning and evening commutes.

  gusting as high as 35 mph will lead to continued blowing and
  drifting snow.

* WHERE...Grand Traverse and Wexford Counties.

* WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Widespread blowing
  snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous
  conditions will impact the Friday morning commute.

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM EST FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow. Additional accumulations of 8 to 14
  inches possible across eastern Antrim, western Otsego, eastern
  Kalkaska, western Crawford, and northern Roscommon counties. A
  general 3 to 8 inches of snow is anticipated elsewhere.

* WHERE...A portion of Northern Lower Michigan.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM EST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Travel will be difficult, especially on roads that have
  not been plowed. Areas of blowing snow will significantly reduce
  visibility. The hazardous conditions are going to impact commutes
  through Friday evening.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The heaviest band of lake effect snow is
  expected to impact parts of US-131 between Elmira and Fife Lake...
  and I-75 just north of Waters (exit 270) to Roscommon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. Turn on headlights so oncoming
traffic can see your headlights...and following traffic can see your
taillights.

  Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...Central Chippewa, Eastern Mackinac, Western Chippewa, and
  Western Mackinac Counties.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM EST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Heavy snow and strong winds will lead to significant
  drops in visibility. Whiteout conditions are expected at times of
  heaviest snow and winds. Combination of visibility restrictions
  and snow covered roads will make for hazardous travel.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. Turn on headlights so others
can see you.
