Frequent squalls will be possible through the day today. This can bring about potential for rapidly changing travel conditions across the region. Quick onsets of dropping visibilities can be hazardous to travelers. Thoroughfares most impacted will be M-28 west of Brimley, M-123, I-75 across portions of eastern upper Michigan and between Frederic and St. Helen in northern lower Michigan, US 131 from Boyne City to Fife Lake, M-72 from Grayling to Kalkaska, and US 23 from Rogers City to Alpena. Please take proper winter precautions if traveling today, and remember to keep it slow in ice and snow!.
