...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Minnesota...Wisconsin...

  Mississippi River at Wabasha affecting Buffalo and Wabasha
  Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

The next statement will be issued Friday morning at 1100 AM CDT.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY MORNING UNTIL FURTHER
NOTICE...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Wabasha.

* WHEN...From Friday morning until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Lock and Dam 4 goes out of operation and
  damages may begin to occur in Alma Wisconsin.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:15 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 11.9 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    tomorrow morning and continue rising to 14.9 feet Thursday,
    June 27.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    14.9 feet on 04/14/2011.
