...Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity and
increased in duration for the following rivers in Wisconsin...

  Trempealeau River at Dodge affecting Buffalo and Trempealeau
  Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT TO LATE FRIDAY
EVENING...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Trempealeau River at Dodge.

* WHEN...From late tonight to late Friday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, The railroad bridge about three quarters
  of a mile upstream from the gage can restrict the flow.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 3:45 PM CDT Monday the stage was 10.0 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage just after
    midnight tonight to 11.1 feet tomorrow evening. It will then
    fall early Thursday afternoon. It will rise to 10.7 feet
    Thursday evening. It will then fall below flood stage late
    Friday morning.
  - Flood stage is 10.5 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    11.1 feet on 03/15/1990.
