...Stiff Winds Today...

Easterly winds sustained around 25 mph will regularly gust to 40
mph and occasionally over that across southeast Minnesota,
northeast Iowa, and west and southwest Wisconsin. Such persistent
winds may make it difficult for high profile vehicles, especially
on north-south roads, and drivers should use caution. In
addition, loose objects will be prone to blowing, and should be
secured early today.

Winds will gradually ease across the region late this afternoon
into this evening.
