DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 300 AM GMT (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Hanna was
located near latitude 33.7 North, longitude 43.6 West. Hanna is
moving toward the southeast near 12 mph (19 km/h). This
motion is forecast to continue with a decrease in forward speed
through morning, followed by a turn to the east-northeast.

Maximum sustained winds remain near 40 mph (65 km/h) with higher
gusts. Gradual weakening is expected during the next couple of days,
and Hanna is likely to become a post-tropical cyclone tonight or
Thursday.

Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 70 miles (110 km)
from the center.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1005 mb (29.68 inches).
