The National Weather Service in Binghamton has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northwestern Luzerne County in northeastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 1045 AM EDT.

* At 917 AM EDT, Local law enforcement reported flooding in
  Fairmount Township on Bethel Hill Road.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Wilkes-Barre, Muhlenberg, Edwardsville, Harveys Lake, Sweet
  Valley, Huntington Mills, Fairmount Spgs, Kingston, Plymouth,
  Larksville, Lehman, Dallas, Pringle, Courtdale, Pikes Creek,
  Ricketts Glen State Park, Fern Brook and Shavertown.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
