.DISCUSSION...

A frontal boundary will slowly move eastward across the area
leading to additional showers and thunderstorms into this
evening. Storms will be slow moving or even nearly stationary
producing torrential downpours. Rainfall rates of 1-2"+ per hour
are possible in the heaviest showers and storms. The thunderstorms
should gradually move out of the area between 8-11 PM this
evening, with areas of fog develop overnight.

High pressure looks to briefly build into the region on Tuesday
before another frontal system approaches mid to late week, with
renewed shower and thunderstorm chances. Temperatures will remain
above average, with very warm humid conditons persisting through
Thursday.
