Scattered showers and thunderstorms will gradually move east across the Finger
Lakes late this afternoon and evening. A few storms could produce prolonged, heavy
downpours with localized rainfall amounts up to 1 inch possible. It gradually dries
out overnight, before more showers and thunderstorms develop Thursday afternoon. A
storms could be severe with strong winds, heavy rainfall and even isolated hail.
