...THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL WILL IMPACT THE AREA
THIS AFTERNOON...

Thunderstorms continue to develop across the Southern Tier of New
York, northeastern Pennsylvania and portions of the western
Catskills. Torrential downpours are the main threat with these
thunderstorms. Isolated to scattered instances of flash flooding
could occur where storms stall, back build or train over the same
locations. Locations that saw excessive rainfall and flooding
yesterday will also be more vulnerable to flash flooding.

Remain weather aware and have a plan on what to do if strong
thunderstorms or flash flooding strikes. Stay tuned to our
website, weather.gov/bgm, our weather radio or other trusted media
outlets for the latest watch and warning information.
