The National Weather Service in Binghamton has issued a

* Snow Squall Warning for...
  Southeastern Otsego County in central New York...
  North central Delaware County in central New York...

* Until 500 PM EST.

* At 435 PM EST, a dangerous snow squall was located along a line
  extending from near Summit to near Morris, moving south at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...Intense bursts of heavy snow. Gusty winds leading to
           blowing snow and rapidly falling visibility. Wind gusts
           up to 35 mph.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous
           within minutes.

Locations impacted include...
Oneonta, Davenport, Worcester, Maryland, West End, Elk Creek,
Colliersville, East Meredith, Schenevus, and Cooperstown Junction.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow Down! Rapid changes in visibility and road conditions are
expected with this dangerous snow squall. Be alert for sudden
whiteout conditions.

Reduce speed and turn on headlights! During snow squalls, the
visibility may suddenly drop to near zero in whiteout conditions.
