...WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY AFTERNOON
THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow possible. Total snow accumulations
  greater than 7 inches possible in the most persistent lake effect
  bands. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph, producing blowing and
  drifting snow and possible whiteout conditions.

* WHERE...Madison, Northern Oneida, Onondaga, and Southern Oneida
  Counties.

* WHEN...From Thursday afternoon through Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce
  visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the busy
  Thanksgiving holiday travel period, especially Friday early
  morning.

During lake effect snow, the weather can vary from bands of locally
heavy snow to dry weather just a few miles away. Visibilities can
also vary greatly. Be prepared for rapid changes in weather,
