.DISCUSSION...

Partly to mostly cloudy skies will be found today, with chances
for showers and thunderstorms mainly in western and central
portions. Temperatures will remain cool for the more cloudy areas,
while get to near normal in the partly cloudy areas north.
Afternoon humidity values look to be above 40 percent, with above
60 percent to some southwestern areas. Winds will be light, and
eventually become southerly. Shower and thunderstorm chances will
diminish tonight, with high humidity recoveries expected. Slightly
warmer temperatures will be found on Labor Day, with afternoon
humidity values lowering into the mid 20s to mid 30s west and
above 50 percent south central and east. Chances for showers and
thunderstorms look to be found across much of the area, with
limited chances in the southwest. A light southerly to westerly
wind is expected on Labor Day.

A cold front could then move through sometime Tuesday, continuing
chance for showers and thunderstorms for most of the area. Winds
are forecast to become northerly behind this front, and could be
breezy at times. Cooler temperatures will be found in the north,
with near seasonable temperatures in the south. Humidity values
may also improve Tuesday and generally be above 40s percent, with
some 30s in the southwest.
