This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
North Dakota, northwest North Dakota, south central North Dakota,
and southwest North Dakota.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

There is a 20 to 40 percent chance of thunderstorms late tonight
mainly across southwestern and south central North Dakota.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Numerous severe thunderstorms (risk level 3 out of 5) are likely
late Thursday afternoon through Thursday night. Expected hazards
include very large hail up to 2 inches in diameter, damaging winds
as high as 70 mph, with localized gusts up to 80 mph, and a few
tornadoes.

Spotter activation may be needed on Thursday.

large hail up to ping pong ball size and damaging winds as high
as 70 mph.
