Peak Wind Estimated: 110 mph Path Length: 1 mile Path Width: 1 mile Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 1 Start Date: 06/20/2025 Start Time: 09:18 PM CDT Start Location: Copper Ridge Area near Lincoln Start Lat/Lon: 46.73/-100.71 End Date: 06/20/2025 End Time: 09:20 PM CDT End Location: Copper Ridge Area near Lincoln End Lat/Lon: 46.73/-100.69 On the evening of June 20th, 2025, a severe thunderstorm with strong straight line winds pushed through the Copper Ridge area south of Lincoln, North Dakota. Widespread wind damage was found in this one mile by one mile development. This damage includes several homes with roof damage, siding, and deck damage. Damage to garages, including one with a side of a wall blown out. Campers were damaged or flipped. A large shop was completely destroyed then directly blown into the neighbor`s property across the road. It was reported one person was injured during passage of this line of storms. Through on site survey and review of damage photos submitted via agency partners and social media, it has been determined this to be straight line wind damage consistent with an estimated max wind speed of 110 mph. && NOTE: The information in this statement is preliminary and subject to change pending final review of the event and publication in NWS Storm Data. $$
