A few showers and thunderstorms will continue across the eastern
half of South Dakota into southern Minnesota early this afternoon,
with mostly sunny skies across the Northern Plains. Highs will
range from the mid 70s along the International Border to the lower
90s south. Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms are possible
across central and eastern parts of the region later this
afternoon through the evening hours.

The rest of the work week will bring seasonable temperatures with
scattered thunderstorm chances, with higher chances for showers
and thunderstorms Thursday into Friday. Severe thunderstorms are
possible Thursday into Friday, primarily across western parts of
the region. Seasonably cool temperatures are likely this weekend.
