Snow will track southeast across the region through this
afternoon, with overall accumulations light. Highs today are
forecast from the teens northeast to the mid and upper 30s over
far southern portions of the region.

Much colder air will spill into northeast Montana, North Dakota
and northern Minnesota on Saturday. Highs will range from around 5
above zero along the International Border, to the lower 30s over
southwest South Dakota. Light snow will also track from eastern
Montana, southeast across western and south central North Dakota
and into South Dakota and southern Minnesota Saturday through
Saturday night. While overall accumulations are again expected to
be light, some heavier snow amounts are possible across southeast
South Dakota and far southern Minnesota. After a very cold
Saturday night, we begin to warm up over western portions of the
region Sunday, then region wide early next week.
