Light snow continues to push out into the eastern portion of the
region this afternoon. Highs will level off from the lower teens
in northeast Montana to the lower 20s in the Red River Valley. An
even colder air mass will arrive tonight. Tonight and Sunday night
will feature lows from around 5 above to 10 below zero across the
region, with wind chills as low as 25 below. In between these 2
nights, highs on Sunday will be limited to around 5 to 15 above
zero.

A quick warmup is expected to start the upcoming work week, with
highs returning to near freezing in southwest parts of the region
on Tuesday. Another cold front is set to move through late
Tuesday, bringing temperatures back down into the teens for highs
on Wednesday and single digits above and below zero for lows
Tuesday and Wednesday nights. There are also low to medium chances
for light snow with the cold front late Tuesday.
