Snow will continue to increase and spread north and eastward
across the region tonight. A wintry mix of snow, rain, and
freezing rain is also possible in South Dakota. Low temperatures
will be in the teens in the north to 30s in the south. Expect
widespread snow to continue for Thursday, diminishing from west to
east Thursday night. Widespread 1 to 4 inches of snow is
possible, with 6 to 12 inches or more perhaps coming in southern
North Dakota, northern South Dakota, and central Minnesota.

Very cold weather is then expected through the upcoming weekend.
High temperatures will struggle to reach 25 across most of the
region, with overnight lows near zero. Another round of snow is
possible for this weekend.
