Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected tonight mainly
from western South Dakota, through central and eastern North
Dakota, and into northwestern Minnesota as a cold front moves
through the region. Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms are
possible as well with the best chances in eastern North Dakota
and northwestern Minnesota. There are daily chances for showers
and thunderstorms this weekend and into early next week, with
isolated to scattered severe thunderstorms possible during the
weekend. Aside from a modest cooldown on Sunday, it will remain
very warm into next week, with highs mostly in the mid 80s to mid
90s. Although a few 100 degree readings could return to the west
on Tuesday.
