...TWO SHOTS OF WINTER WEATHER LIKELY THIS WEEK...

A quick moving low pressure system will move across North Dakota
this evening through Tuesday afternoon, bringing widespread light
snow accumulations to much of western and central North Dakota.
Totals of 1 to 3 inches are generally expected with this first
system. Snow will diminish to the east by Tuesday afternoon.
Travel will become hazardous due to snow covered roads, including
during the Tuesday morning commute.

Confidence continues to increase that a more significant winter
storm will impact the Northern Plains Wednesday night through
Thursday. At the moment, the most favored area for heavy snow is
from along the Highway 200 corridor south to the South Dakota
border. Much uncertainty remains regarding exact amounts and
specific locations. Monitor the forecast and prepare for the
possibility of significant winter weather.
