NORTHERN CLAY AND CHEROKEE COUNTIES THROUGH 845 PM CDT...

At 739 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Tabor Road to 6 miles southeast of
Ragland. Movement was east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Gadsden, Anniston, Oxford, Talladega, Jacksonville, Rainbow City,
Attalla, Piedmont, Hokes Bluff, Centre, Heflin, Lineville, Cedar
Bluff, Cobb Town, Fort McClellan, Saks, Little River Canyon National
Preserve, Forney, West End-Cobb Town, and Centre Municipal Airport.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
