...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT TALLADEGA...SOUTHWESTERN
CALHOUN...EASTERN SHELBY...SOUTHWESTERN ST. CLAIR...SOUTHWESTERN
CLEBURNE AND CLAY COUNTIES THROUGH 315 PM CDT...

At 234 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Harpersville, or near Childersburg, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Anniston, Oxford, Talladega, Sylacauga, Pell City, Jacksonville,
Childersburg, Lineville, Ashland, Wilsonville, Talladega Springs,
West End-Cobb Town, Cobb Town, Fort McClellan, Saks, Lincoln, Weaver,
Vincent, Harpersville, and Munford.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
