.SHORT TERM...Tonight through Friday night...Northwest flow will
continues over the area through Thursday morning as a trough
remains over British Columbia. A weak trough off the CA coast
will shift the flow to southwest aloft on Thursday afternoon,
allowing temperatures to warm around 5-10 degrees for Thursday
and Friday. Temperatures in the lower valleys warm to the low
100s Thursday and Friday. Monsoon moisture from the Four Corners
region will approach the NV border on Thursday afternoon, for a
slight chance of showers and thunderstorms south of the Snake
Plain. On Friday the moisture will generally be pushed eastward,
but a slight chance of thunderstorms remains in southern Twin
Falls County eastward.

.LONG TERM...Saturday through Wednesday...A trough over BC will
begin to dive southward on Saturday and Sunday, bringing cooler
and breezy conditions. Moisture is limited with this system, but
Monday afternoon into Tuesday is the highest chance (10-15
percent) of receiving precipitation. Temperatures will be around
3 to 5 degrees below normal.

.AVIATION...Mainly VFR. Patchy smoke, mainly aloft. Thursday
morning, surface smoke may reach KBNO/KBKE. Surface winds: W-NW
5-15 kt, becoming light and variable tonight. Winds aloft at
10kft MSL: W 10-25 kt.

KBOI...VFR and clear. Smoke aloft possible tomorrow morning.
Surface winds: NW 5-15 kt, becoming SE 3-8 kt after sunset.
