* Southwest Idaho BLM (ID Zones 400, 420, 423, 424, 426)...
Continued warm and dry through tonight. An upper level low in
southwestern OR today will approach the area Thursday and pass directly
overhead Friday. The low together with the continuing monsoon moisture
will produce scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms Thursday
afternoon and evening, with showers and slight chance of thunderstorms
again Friday, then clearing by sunrise Saturday. Slightly cooler
Thursday, then significantly cooler Friday when the upper low passes
overhead. Patchy valley fog overnight into Saturday morning, then
mostly sunny and warmer later Saturday.
* Southwest Idaho Forest (ID Zones 401, 402, 403, 421)...
Continued warm and dry through tonight, except isolated showers and
thunderstorms overnight due to northward-moving monsoon moisture on
the eastern edge of the Payette and Boise NFs. An upper level low
in southwestern OR today will approach the area Thursday and pass directly
overhead Friday. The low together with the continuing monsoon moisture
will produce numerous showers and scattered thunderstorms Thursday
afternoon and evening, with showers and another chance of thunderstorms
Friday, then clearing by sunrise Saturday. Slightly cooler Thursday,
then significantly cooler Friday when the upper low passes overhead.
Patchy valley fog overnight into Saturday morning, then mostly sunny
and warmer later Saturday.
* Southeast Oregon (OR Zones 670-675)...
An upper level low in southwestern Oregon will circulate warm,
dry southerly flow into the area through tonight, with showers
and thunderstorms staying to the west. On Thursday showers
and afternoon thunderstorms will increase, except in zones
672-673, as the low begins to move eastward. Showers and a
slight chance of thunderstorms will continue Thursday night
and Friday, especially in Vale BLM and Baker County, ending
Friday evening followed by clearing. Slightly cooler Thursday,
then significantly cooler Friday. Valley fog early Saturday
morning, then sunny, warmer, and drier later Saturday.
