.DISCUSSION...
Monsoonal moisture is gradually moving out of the area from west
to east, however isolated thunderstorms with a slight chance of
showers remain through Friday. The main risk of seeing
thunderstorms is during the afternoon and evening over southeast
Oregon and higher terrain near the ID-NV border and West Central
Mountains through Friday. With the drier air, there is an
increased chance of seeing gusty outflows to 45 mph with
thunderstorms. A warming and drying trend continues into the
weekend, with temperatures returning to around 90F in lower lying
areas and RH dropping to 15% in southeast Oregon by Saturday.
