.DISCUSSION...
Moist southwest flow and afternoon instability will keep a
chance of thunderstorms over the region through the weekend.
Thunderstorms will initiate over higher terrain in the late
afternoon then drift to the north and east through the evening.
Expect isolated to scattered coverage with the focus of storms
over southeast Oregon. A cold front will cross the area late
Sunday into Monday bringing gusty winds to southeast Oregon
and portions of southwest Idaho. Next week will start off
dry and cooler, with heat returning by the end of the week.
