High pressure will bring mild and dry conditions to the region today.
Weak flow aloft will result in lighter surface winds. A pair of low
pressure systems will swing through the region Thursday and Friday
bringing periods of showers and afternoon thunderstorms while increasing
daytime winds. Showers and thunderstorms will focus across northern
zones on Thursday, with the focus shifting to southern zones on Friday.
The weekend will be warm and dry with the chance of showers and
thunderstorms returning early next week.
