* Southwest Idaho BLM (ID Zones 400, 420, 423, 424, 426)...
Lingering moisture will keep mid and high level clouds over much
of the BLM land through this morning. High based showers along the
Idaho-Nevada in south-central Idaho will bring little if any
rainfall through this evening. Strengthening high pressure will
push temperatures to 95-105 degrees across the Snake Plain
Thursday and Friday while afternoon humidity drops below 15%.
Breezy southwest winds will develop Friday afternoon, with
gusts reaching 20 to 25 mph across higher terrain south of the
Snake River. Monsoon moisture returns by Friday, bringing a 10 to
25% chance of mostly dry thunderstorms.
* Southwest Idaho Forest (ID Zones 401, 402, 403, 421)...
Lingering mid and high clouds will break up this morning. Clearing
will allow for isolated shower and thunderstorm this afternoon
mostly across the eastern Payette NF and northern Boise NF.
Showers and thunderstorms that develop will bring little if any
rainfall through this evening. Strengthening high pressure will
push temperatures well above normal by Thursday and Friday while
afternoon humidity drops below 20% and midslopes see poor overnight
recovery. Monsoon moisture will return by Friday, bringing a 10 to
25% chance of mostly dry thunderstorms across the eastern Payette
and Boise NF.
* Southeast Oregon (OR Zones 670-675)...
Clouds will linger across southern districts this morning.
Otherwise sunny, hot and dry weather will setup by this afternoon.
A strengthening high pressure system keeps the dry conditions in
place while increasing temperatures through Thursday. Friday remains
hot and will see an increase in southwest winds across southern Burns
and Vale zones where gusts of 20 to 30 mph will accompany humidity
values of 10-15%. A low pressure system will bring a slight chance of
showers and thunderstorms to the Blues and northern Vale BLM Friday
afternoon.
