High pressure will keep dry and mild conditions over the region
through Saturday. A cold frontal passage on Sunday will bring
widespread showers to the mountains and a slight chance of showers
to the valleys of east-central Oregon and lower Snake Plain of
southwest Idaho. A wetting rain is likely in the west-central
Idaho mountains, with snow accumulation limited to sites above
6500 feet on Sunday. Breezy southerly winds will shift to the
northwest behind the front, gusting 25 to 40 mph. High pressure
returns dry and stable weather to the region for all of next
week, which will limit ventilation.
