.DISCUSSION...
Monsoonal moisture continues to move out of the area from west to
east, however isolated thunderstorms with a slight chance of
showers remain through Friday. The main risk of seeing
thunderstorms is during the afternoon and evening near Baker
Valley and southeast Oregon, as well as higher terrain near the
ID-NV border and West Central Mountains through Friday. With the
drier air, there is an increased chance of seeing gusty outflows
to 45 mph with thunderstorms. Generally light winds outside of
thunderstorms, with a breezy evening expected in Magic Valley
today. A warming and drying trend continues into the weekend, with
temperatures returning to around 90F in lower lying areas and RH
dropping to 15% in southeast Oregon by Saturday.
