Isolated thunderstorms expected to develop over the higher terrain
of Harney and Baker Counties this afternoon. Gusty outflows to 40
mph with little rain is expected. Slight chance for thunderstorms
Monday afternoon near the Owyhee mountains. Otherwise, dry
and hazy conditions with hot temperatures will continue through
Tuesday, with minimum RH remaining around 15-20%. More favorable
conditions for thunderstorms is expected Tuesday afternoon into
Wednesday across much of southeast Oregon and south of the Snake
Plain aided by robust moisture and shortwave passage.
