An upper disturbance moves through today with a chance of showers
and a slight chance of afternoon and evening thunderstorms (gusts
to 40 mph), mainly across the north. Gusty northwest winds
accompany a cold front later today. Dry and very warm conditions
are expected Tuesday through Thursday, followed by much cooler
temperatures and a chance of showers next weekend. Near red-flag
conditions (gusty winds, low humidity) are possible near the
Nevada border preceding a cold front on Friday.
