...CONTINUED HOT AND DRY WITH BREEZY AFTERNOON WINDS...

.DISCUSSION...
High pressure aloft over the entire interior western US will continue
hot, dry weather through at least Saturday. Little day-to-day change
until then.  Winds will follow a daily cycle of southwest during the
day, strongest in the afternoons, then northwest at night, strongest
in the evenings.  No chance of thunderstorms or outflow winds near the
fire area.  A slight chance of thunderstorms north of Baker County
Thursday evening will be more than 100 miles north of the fire, too
far away for outflow winds to reach the fire.  Surface-based inversion
should break 9-10 AM PDT, with mixing height rising rapidly.  Transport
winds will be from the southwest 10-15 mph. Nighttime humidity recovery
will only be 50 to 60 percent the next several nights.
