.DISCUSSION...
Monsoonal moisture is moving away with a rapidly drying and warming
trend into the early week. Due to the drier air, there is a decreased
chance of thunderstorms and showers compared to the previous days,
however isolated thunderstorms are still expected during the afternoon
and evening through Friday. Gusty outflows to 45 mph are possible
in thunderstorms, with directions most likely from the south or west.
Light winds otherwise, most likely diurnally forced with upslope flow
during the day and downslope during the night through Saturday.

.EXTENDED FORECAST THROUGH SUNDAY...
Sunny and dry conditions returning from Saturday. Expect
temperatures to increase to around 90F and RH decreasing to just
under 20% by Sunday. Winds on Sunday increasing slightly with
southeast flow around 10 mph, shifting more easterly 13 mph with
breezy gusts to 20 mph in the evening. This drier and warmer trend
is expected to continue through early next week.
