.DISCUSSION...
As a cold front approaches today, south and southwest winds will
increase this morning, especially on the ridges. Light rain and virga
will also be possible this morning, but wetting rains are not expected.
The wind shift of the cold front is on track to arrive late morning,
with gusts peaking in the mid afternoon, and again in the evening. Winds
will gradually taper overnight. Max temperatures will be around 10-15
degrees cooler today (Friday) than yesterday, with warmest temperatures
expected for the lower elevations. Max humidity will become dramatically
improved tonight due to the cooler temperatures and cloud cover.
Additional 10 degrees of cooling is expected Saturday.

.TODAY (FRIDAY)...

Sky/weather.........Mostly cloudy. A 10 percent chance of
                    light rain this afternoon.
Max temperature.....60 to 72.
Min humidity........24 to 34 percent. However, lower to the south.
CWR.................Less than 5 percent.
Wind - 20 foot......South/Southwest 11 to 17 mph with gusts to 25 to 30
                    mph. Shifting to westerly 15 to 22 mph with gusts
                    30 to 35 mph after 1000 PDT.

.TONIGHT...

Sky/weather.........Mostly clear in the evening then becoming
                    mostly cloudy overnight.
Min temperature.....36 to 45.
Max humidity........68 to 79 percent. However, lower to the south.
CWR.................0 percent.
Wind - 20 foot......Northwest 15 to 22 mph with gusts to around 30 to 35
                    mph. Decreasing overnight.

.SATURDAY...

Sky/weather.........Cloudy in the morning then becoming partly
                    sunny in the afternoon.
Max temperature.....51 to 63.
Min humidity........18 to 29 percent. However, lower to the south.
CWR.................0 percent.
Wind - 20 foot......Northwest 4 to 9 mph. Gusts around 15 mph in the
