High pressure will bring hot and dry conditions to the fire site
through Friday. Temperatures will be well above normal with humidity
dropping below 15% each afternoon. Increasing moisture aloft will
bring a 20% chance of thunderstorms on Saturday, followed by a cold
frontal passage Saturday evening. Little if any rainfall is expected
from thunderstorms on Saturday and storms will be capable of
producing gusty outflow winds. General winds will follow a diurnal
cycle through Friday. Stronger southwest winds will develop on Saturday
with gusts to 30 mph possible.
