...HOT AND DRY TODAY...
...POSSIBLE STRONG OUTFLOW GUSTS THIS EVENING...
...SLIGHT CHANCE OF STORMS TOMORROW EVENING...

.DISCUSSION...
Temperatures climb to near triple digits this afternoon as
prevailing winds remain a steady 10 mph out of the southwest. This
evening and early tonight showers moving from south to north
across the region could produce strong outflow gusts near 35 to 55
mph. Strongest winds will occur along ridges and N-S facing
valleys. Winds, if they form, would move through the fire location
around 7 to 10PM LT. Winds mostly calm overnight, but isolated
showers could continue to form and produce locally strong wind
gusts. A cold front tomorrow drops temperatures about 10 degrees
from today and brings an increased chance of thunderstorms.
Thunderstorms Saturday evening could produce heavy rainfall,
abundant lightning, and outflow winds 35 to 45 mph. Following the
front on Sunday, sustained winds increase to 15 mph with gusts up
to 25 mph.
