...SLIGHT CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS FRIDAY AND SATURDAY EVENING...

.DISCUSSION...
Hot and dry through Friday with for poor RH recoveries and light
durinal winds. Winds in the North Fork Boise River valley will
follow a durinal trend of northerly or down valley from sunset
through late morning then switch to southerly or upvalley late
morning through the evening. Ridge tops winds will be light from
the south-southwest. Increasing moisture ahead of a Pacific trough
will allow for increased cloud cover Thursday afternoon and again
on Friday. Temperatures are still expected to reach 8 to 10
degrees above normal. Enough monsoonal moisture should reach south
central Idaho for a 20 percent chances for thundestorms near the
Fire. These storms could produce strong outflow winds. Winds will
be primarily from the south from the valley floor through the
ridgetops Friday afternoon and evening.
