...ISOLATED SHOWERS TODAY, THUNDERSTORMS THURSDAY...
...HOT, DRY, AND WINDY LATE WEEK...

.DISCUSSION...
Clouds will move overhead today with isolated showers, mainly this
afternoon. Thunderstorms today are expected to remain to the
southwest of the fire over southern Vale, but there is potential
for gusty outflow winds from distant thunderstorms this evening.
Otherwise, winds will be light northerly. Monsoonal moisture will
keep relative humidity from dipping below 20 percent. Isolated
showers and thunderstorms will develop Thursday afternoon with
gusty outflow winds possible. An upper level ridge will break down
late this week with hot temperatures, very low humidity around 10
percent, and wind gusts to around 30 mph each afternoon Friday
and Saturday.
